This series of annuals falls into several parts. Firstly, only 1953-1955 were published by Mandeville; the rest were published by Oxenhoathe Press. The Mandeville issues have duct jackets; the later ones, coloured boards.

For completeness, the Tom Merry Annuals are included; they too, were published by Oxenhoathe.

However unfair it may seem, this 'series' of Annuals have become known as Mandeville editions.
